The story picks up right where the first book left off and there are lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing throughout. You're never quite sure who to trust and every time you think you know where loyalties lie, Natasha Knight will throw a curve ball at you.As much as I enjoyed the characters, I'm still not sure how to feel about Stefan. He's protective and alpha, but he also takes what he wants unapologetically and there were a few times where there was questionable consent between him and Gabriela. I'm not sure I would really call it love between them. Up until the end, it felt more like a case of Stockholm syndrome. Stefan's entire story line with Clara felt unnecessary and was just plain icky. I really liked the the familial twist at the end though and didn't see it coming at all. Unfortunately, the overall pacing of the story was a bit slow for me and made the story feel unnecessarily long. Things wrap up very quickly at the end, but the epilogues (yes, there's more than 1!) were a great way to close this duet. Wen Ross and Mackenzie Cartwright were amazing again and I really enjoyed their narration. Wen Ross especially gave an enthusiastic and emotional performance. Overall, this was an entertaining duet, but I enjoyed book 1 more.🎧AudiobookObsession

The writing style is addictive and highly entertaining narrative. So much suspense, oodles of bombshells, and the complexity of the narrative creates a euphoric listen.Narators Wen Ross, Mackenzie Cartwright dual naration was perfect. Wen Ross is intoxicating and just adds to the narrative. His inflection and ability to give each character the right intonation to fit them is always perfect. Mackenzie Cartwright had all the right vibes in her portrayal of Gabriela.Overall a perfect duet with a flawless dual narration.🎧 Audiobook Obsession 🎧

She challenges and pushes me out of my comfort zone by creating intriguing stories filled with morally ambiguous characters. On the outside I should despise these characters, but as the story unfolds, it's not so black and white. This arranged marriage, age gap, mafia romance will have the reader/listener on the edge of their seat trying to figure out Stefan and Gabriela's secrets. Both have traumatic pasts that have left them guarded and wary of who to trust. The forced proximity helps them see each other in a new light at times, but make no mistake, this is not a sweet romance. Wen Ross and Mackenzie Cartwright give wonderful performances as Stefan and Gabriela. There are some very emotional scenes, and both handled them very well. Collateral is a duet, so be ready for the cliffhanger! I can't wait to see how Stefan and Gabriela's story concludes.🎧AudiobookObsession

Omg!!! Don’t know if I could be more in love with these characters. The fierce love and protectiveness Stefan has for Gabrielle. The love that Gabby has for her brother and even the problems with Rafael. I still loved all the characters. Steamy, intense, edge of your seat yumminess, violence, alpha males make for another amazing book!!! Wen and Mackenzie brought the characters to life. Talk about leave them wanting more. With the ending Natasha Knight just delivered with Collateral, I definitely want more. And I need it asap.I loved the tension and the charged atmosphere around Gabriela and Stefan. They have a passion that's obvious without even needing to rely on only the usual to create it.I just loved the way this was written. I got so much in an unexpected way.This book was dark and thrilling. It's got suspense and so many secrets to uncover. And boy does it leave you with a whopper of a cliffhanger. Collateral (An Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance) is swirling with danger, Scrumptiously dark & twisted, a intensely captivating narrative that is entertainingly gingerly. I've become addicted to this authors audio's and I love her writing style and the way she writes mafia. Complex characters, bounteous suspense, mystery, secrets, entwined with angst and deceit.This ends with a cliffhanger that is a rippling tide creating a vortex affect. Only good thing is that it won't be too long for the 2nd audio in this duet to be available.Narators: Wen Ross, Mackenzie Cartwright perfect naration lay bare a persuasive performance bringing the narrative & characters to reality. Mackenzie's portrayal of Gabriela had plenty of depth and vocalized with the right sentiments. Wen Ross deep intoxicating intonation is like living in paradise. Love Gabriella and Stefan, I love love Gabriella attitude, she had gut and she stood up for herself. She did not back down for Stefan or anyone she was more mature for her eighteen years and despite her hard upbringing she still remains true to her friend and the people she love.

I can’t put into words hope absolutely amazing this book was. I am in love with Stefan & Gabriela. Their relationship or whatever you want to call is is dark, volatile, twisted and crazy. I found myself eagerly awaiting what was gonna happen around the corner. So looking forward to the next book. Loved Wen Ross & Mackenzie Cartwright narrating.
